Richard is a Founding Partner of New Link Consulting. He joined New Link Consulting as part of the acquisition of Eclipse Business Consulting in February 2018.  Richard has spent over 25 years working in the financial services industry. After graduating from Bath and Cambridge universities (Mathematical Economics), he started his career at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), where he operated in their Retail Banking, Corporate Banking and Capital Markets divisions.

During this period, Richard gained significant experience in a wide range of areas, including retail distribution, marketing & analytics, payments & cash management, trade finance, card processing and customer relationship management. In the last three years of his tenure at Accenture, Richard specialised in the Business Banking and Capital Markets divisions, where his exposure included stock exchange trading and client connectivity challenges, numerous systems integration programmes, post-deal mergers and acquisitions, introduction of the Euro and Y2K compliance.

During his tenure at Eclipse Business Consulting, Richard focused on business development and programme oversight of large data and digital transformation initiatives for a wide range of capital markets firms and commercial banks. He has transferred this focus across into New Link Consulting and led the expansion of New Link’s sector coverage into corporate insurance and the U.K. public sector.
